Belly to Belly: A Night of Sushi, Sake, and Sumo

The Men's Club at the Synagogue of Suburban Torah wrestle to Rule the Shul.

The Synagogue of Suburban Torah Men's Club held "A Night of Sushi, Sake, and Sumo" as East met West for an evening of fun.  Battles for food and drink were avoided.

Featuring its own Men's Club members as the wrestlers, more than 70 members and guests turned out to see their favorite wrestlers.  The wrestlers donned inflatable Sumo suits and went belly to belly tournament style to determine who "Rules the Shul."

The field started with its Sweaty Sixteen. The wrestlers battled in a best two out of three competition to advance from the Sweaty Sixteen to the Enormous Eight to the Fabulous Four, and then to the Not-Tiny Two for the grand final victory.
