Car Stolen From Livingston Driveway, Key Fob Possibly Left Inside: Police
The car was recovered later that night in a nearby town, Livingston police said.
LIVINGSTON, NJ — A car was stolen from a driveway in Livingston last week, and was recovered later that evening in a nearby Essex County town, authorities said Tuesday.
According to the Livingston Police Department, officers responded to a home on Briar Cliff Road at 8:24 a.m. on Thursday after getting a report about a stolen vehicle.

“Upon the officers’ arrival, they met with the victim, who advised he had parked his 2020 Acura TLX in the driveway and it was stolen in the overnight hours. The vehicle was believed to be locked with the key fob possibly left inside the vehicle. Later that evening, the vehicle was located by the East Orange Police Department in East Orange and it was towed to the Livingston Police Department for processing.”
The Livingston Detective Bureau is investigating the theft, police said.
