Community to Honor Outgoing Livingston School District Superintendent
Staff, administrators, parents and friends are invited to attend a retirement party for Superintendent Brad Draeger Monday night.

Livingston Public Schools will host a retirement reception for Superintendent Brad Draeger on Monday.
The community is invited to attend the event which will begin at 6:30 p.m. in the Livingston High School small cafeteria.
Staff, administrators, parents and friends will honor Draeger for his many accomplishments during his tenure, including improved student achievement, renovated and expanded schools, inclusionary programs for in-district special education students, and equal access to the curriculum.

Draeger will step down after seven years as the district's superintendent on July 31. Draeger announced his retirement in November. His retirement caps a 38-year career in public service, where he served as director of instrumental music, principal, and administrative positions in Fairfax, Va., before being appointed as superintendent of the Livingston School District.
The Board of Education uanimously appointed John Alfieri in May to take over as superintendent when Draeger steps down.
