Driver Found With Phony Temporary License Plates In Livingston: Police
Officers found the fake temporary license plates after a driver made an improper U-turn, Livingston police said.
LIVINGSTON, NJ — Livingston police arrested an Essex County resident after finding him in possession of several phony temporary license plates last week, authorities said Monday.
According to the Livingston Police Department, officers stopped a 2011 Buick Enclave at 5:17 p.m. on Thursday after its driver made an improper U-turn on Eisenhower Parkway near the intersection of South Orange Avenue.
The driver – later identified as Tony Sutton, 43, of East Orange – had an outstanding warrant for his arrest out of Wayne, authorities said.

Police also found Sutton in possession of multiple fraudulent temporary license plates, authorities said.
Sutton was arrested, transported to police headquarters and charged with falsifying or tampering with records. His charge was placed on a summons with a returnable court date at the Livingston Municipal Courthouse, police said.
