Election Reminders In Livingston: 3 Ways To Vote

The voter registration deadline is Oct. 15. The election takes place on Nov. 5. Here are some other election reminders in Livingston.

LIVINGSTON, NJ — The following news release comes courtesy of the Township of Livingston. Find out how to post announcements or events to your local Patch site.

The General Election will be held on Tuesday, November 5, 2024. To know their voting district, voters should bring the sample ballot they received in the mail to their polling location.

  • Livingston Public Library, 10 Robert H. Harp Drive, Meeting Room
    • Districts 1, 6, 7, 13, 20, 23, and 24
  • Livingston Senior/Community Center, 204 Hillside Avenue, Lower Level entrance
    • Districts 2, 3, 4, 5, 10, 11, 12, 15, 16, 19, 22, 25, and 26
  • Livingston Town Hall, 357 S. Livingston Avenue, Main Lobby
    • Districts 8, 9, 14, 17, 18, and 21

In addition to the sample ballot, residents can find their polling location using New Jersey’s Polling Place Search Tool at vote.nj.gov.

New Jersey will offer three ways to vote in the November 5 General Election:

  1. Vote-By-Mail Ballot postmarked, dropped in a Secure Ballot Drop Box or delivered to the Board of Elections Office by 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, November 5.
  2. In-Person Early Voting at designated Essex County sites from Saturday, October 26 through Sunday, November 3 (Hours: Monday through Saturday, 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. and Sunday, 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.).
    1. Find Early Voting Sites at essexboardofelections.com under “Where to Vote.”
    2. The closest In-Person Early Voting Site for Livingston residents is the Berson Family Center, South Mountain Recreation Complex, 560 Northfield Avenue, West Orange, NJ 07052.
  3. In-Person Voting on Election Day at your designated polling place from 6:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.
