Fed up with a pothole in Livingston? Here's who you can contact to fix it.
LIVINGSTON, NJ — The following news release comes courtesy of the Township of Livingston. Find out how to post announcements or events to your local Patch site.
As the warmer weather arrives, roads often begin to show the result of the winter’s damage. Freezing and subsequent thawing of icy precipitation can damage roads, causing cracks and potholes to appear. Once the weather is more consistently warmer, it becomes possible to more effectively repair potholes. Residents are encouraged to report potholes at livingstonnj.org/Pothole so that they can be filled as the weather allows.
Residents are also reminded that Livingston contains numerous county roads in addition to State Route 10 (Mount Pleasant Avenue) and Route 280. Potholes on county and state roads must be reported to the Essex County Department of Public Works and the NJ Department of Transportation (NJDOT), respectively.
