The day-long festivities are mainly held on and around Memorial Oval (Robert Harp Drive), with special events at Northland Recreation Center (3 Madison Court). Events begin at 9:00 a.m. with the largest Auto Show in NJ and end with a 9:00 p.m. fireworks display. This full-day celebration has something for everyone.

The day will start with the largest July 4th Car Show in New Jersey at 9:00 a.m. in the Livingston High School parking lot. The official annual welcome ceremony begins at 10:00 a.m. at the Mervyn V.T. Haines Community Pool on Wahler Road and is followed by a children’s swim carnival.

Northland Recreation Center will host a cricket game from 8:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. and a Pickleball tournament from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon.

Between 12:30 noon and 3:00 p.m., attendees will find free kids’ pony rides on the Oval. At 1:30 p.m., younger kids will enjoy the Powerhouse Studios Hocus Pocus Magic Show, following which older kids can participate in the Wild & Wacky Show.

Starting at 1:00 p.m., there will be over 25 food trucks and vendors on the Oval. The traditional July 4th ice cream-eating contest will take place at 2:30 p.m.

From 2:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., attendees can also enjoy a free rolling video game truck and a race car simulator. Additionally, tickets must be purchased for inflatables, mechanical rides, and a 250-foot zip line. Unlimited ride wristbands for $25 will be available for purchase on site. Wristbands can also be purchased in advance for $20 online through Community Pass at livingstonnj.org/July4Tickets.

The beer & wine garden opens at 3:00 p.m. with two live bands: Brian Drux Project and Livingston Leo & The Goodhart Boyz.

As the beer & wine garden winds down, attendees are encouraged to find a spot for their blanket or chair on the Oval and prepare for the day’s grand finale. At 7:30 p.m., main stage entertainment will be provided by “Winslow – A Night with The Eagles”, followed by the township’s annual fireworks spectacular at 9:00 p.m.
