Livingston Concert, Movie Series Returns: 'Summer Nights At The Oval'

LIVINGSTON, NJ — The following news release comes courtesy of the Township of Livingston. Find out how to post announcements or events to your local Patch site.

The Livingston Recreation & Senior Services Department presents “Summer Nights at the Oval” with Wednesday night concerts in July and movie nights in August.

Each event will feature a food and dessert truck, sponsored by JCT Solutions. Additional event sponsors include Fairview Insurance Agency Foundation Risk, Enterprise, and Jared H. Kantor from Antonelli Kantor Rivera, P.C.

Concert Nights

Dates:

• Wednesday, July 10: Forever Young - One of the New York metro area’s premier golden oldies and doo-wop party and dance bands.
• Wednesday, July 17: The Wag (Beatles Spectacular) - This show is fun for the entire family! The Wag plays all the hits of the Fab Four, from the early days all the way through to their last album.
• Wednesday, July 24: Larger Than Life - The #1 Boyband experience in the country, that will take you back in time with the biggest 90s party.
• Wednesday, July 31: The Counterfeiters - One of the most highly sought after party bands in the biz, featuring the best of the 70s, 80s, and 90s!

Time: 7:00 p.m.

Location: Gazebo in Memorial Park

Movie Nights

• Wednesday, August 7: The Sandlot - One boy becomes part of the gang, nine boys become a team, and their leader becomes a legend by confronting the terrifying mystery beyond the field wall.
• Wednesday, August 14: Trolls Band Together - Get ready for an all-star family reunion like no other in the latest chapter of DreamWorks Animation’s blockbuster musical franchise!
• Wednesday, August 21: Wonka - Armed with nothing but a hatful of dreams, young chocolatier Willy Wonka manages to change the world, one delectable bite at a time.
• Wednesday, August 28: Kung Fu Panda 4 - Po must train a new warrior, however, when a sorceress sets her eyes on his Staff of Wisdom, he realizes he’s going to need some help. Po soon discovers that heroes can be found in the most unexpected places.
