Livingston Duo selected for Paul Robeson All-Star Football Classic

Quarterback Noah Ramos and kicker George Austin Carr selected to represent the East team in the 31st annual game.

Livingston, NJ – Two standout football players from Livingston High School have earned the honor of representing the East team in a celebrated statewide football event that highlights senior talent from six New Jersey counties—the Paul Robeson East-West All-Star Classic.

Quarterback Noah Ramos and kicker George Austin Carr were both selected to play in the 2025 game, which brings together top senior athletes from Essex, Union, Hudson, Passaic, Morris, and Sussex counties. The annual Classic, now in its 31st year, celebrates athletic talent and honors the enduring legacy of Paul Robeson; an All-American athlete at Rutgers and a prominent voice for civil rights.

This year’s game will be held on Tuesday, June 10th, at Paul Robeson Stadium in East Orange, with kickoff set for 7:00 PM. For those unable to attend in person, the game will stream live on Big State Sports’ YouTube channel.

Ramos and Carr earned their spots on East team through consistent performance and leadership during the 2024 season. Ramos threw for over 2,000 yards and connected for 19 touchdowns, steering the Livingston offense with composure and confidence. Carr made his presence felt on special teams, notching 10 touchbacks on kickoffs and helping shift field position in key moments.

“Noah and George were the leaders of our Offense and Special Teams,” said Head Coach Bob Breschard. “Our opponents had to build their game plans around them. These two represent what’s best about Livingston football—hard work, discipline, and follow-through. I’m proud of them for earning this opportunity and can’t wait to see them out there one more time.”

The Classic divides players geographically, with the East team drawing from Essex, Union, and Hudson counties, while West team includes athletes from Passaic, Morris, and Sussex. For many seniors, this is a final high school appearance before college football begins—and a rare chance to suit up with top-tier talent from across the region.

The Paul Robeson East-West Classic not only provides a competitive stage but also serves as a tribute to Robeson’s legacy—one rooted in excellence across athletics, the arts, and advocacy. The event remains a highlight of New Jersey’s high school sports calendar.

Organizers invite fans to watch in person or online and celebrate these athletes as they take the field one final time in their high school careers.
