Livingston Event: How To Safely Use Household Chemicals
Are you using and storing household chemicals correctly? Find out at an upcoming public workshop in Livingston.
LIVINGSTON, NJ — The Livingston Health Department will host a presentation on household chemicals on Thursday, Sept. 18 from 1 to 2 p.m. at the Livingston Senior/Community Center, 204 Hillside Avenue (Tahaney Room 1 on the first floor).
The event will be held in partnership with Cooperman Barnabas Medical Center’s Pharmacy Department. Here’s what to expect, organizers said:
“Join us for this presentation to learn more about chemicals in your home, such as household cleaners, pesticides, automotive, and other chemicals. Our presenters will discuss how to use and store these products safely, how household chemicals can affect your health, and offer some alternatives for certain chemicals.”
