Livingston Restaurant Burglarized, Cash Stolen From Register: Police
Video surveillance shows an unknown intruder inside the business, police said.
LIVINGSTON, NJ — Someone stole cash from the register of a Livingston restaurant during a burglary earlier this week, police say.
The Livingston Police Department released the following details about the burglary, which was reported on Monday:
“At 12:39 a.m., Livingston officers responded to A Mothers Touch Bistro at 36 W. Mt. Pleasant Avenue on a report of a commercial burglary. Upon officers’ arrival, the business owner stated that he received motion alerts from his security system. A review of the video surveillance shows an unknown intruder inside the business. Proceeds of the burglary was cash from the register.”
The Livingston Detective Bureau is investigating the burglary, police said Tuesday.
