Livingston School Board Election Results: Chirls, Yelisevich In Lead

LIVINGSTON, NJ — The dust is settling down from the 2024 general election in Livingston, and all districts have been reported in the race for two open seats on the board of education.

Livingston voters went to their polling places on Nov. 5 to cast ballots for several candidates, including the local school board. Polls closed at 8 p.m., with early voting and mail-in voting launching earlier this month. >> Want local election results? Sign up for free Patch email alerts.

There are three candidates competing for two seats on the Livingston Board of Education. Terms last for three years. The candidates are: Inna Yelisevich, Pamela Chirls and Samantha Messer.

With 100 percent of districts reported, Chirls and Yelisevich lead the race. Here are the uncertified election results, as per the Essex County Clerk’s Office:

  • Inna Yelisevich – 5,222 votes (30.81%)
  • Pamela Chirls – 6,716 votes (39.62%)
  • Samantha Messer – 5,013 votes (29.57%)
