LIVINGSTON, NJ — New Jersey Governor-elect Mikie Sherrill attended a Veterans Day ceremony in Livingston on Tuesday, pledging to “ensure our veterans have the resources they need” when she takes office.

Sherrill – a former U.S. Navy helicopter pilot – was among the attendees at Livingston’s 2025 ceremony, which was held at Veterans War Memorial Park.

“On Veterans Day, and all year long, it’s critical that we continue to share the stories of those who served and the sacrifices they made to protect the rights and freedoms we cherish,” said the congresswoman, who has been projected as the winner of New Jersey’s highly watched gubernatorial election.
