Livingston Water Main Work Will Interrupt Service, Traffic

Construction work will temporarily interrupt water service for some Livingston residents and cause traffic delays on Thursday.

LIVINGSTON, NJ — Construction work will temporarily interrupt water service for some Livingston residents on Thursday, officials said.

Livingston officials released the following advisory for those affected:

“On July 15, there will be water main work on Walnut Street between Eisenhower Parkway and Dellmead Drive. Expect traffic delays. During this work there may also be an interruption in water service between 9 a.m. and 4 p.m. for Walnut Street. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. When the water service returns, if you see any air or discoloration in your water, run the cold-water faucet at the sink closest to your water meter until the water is clear. Thank you for your understanding.”
