Monarch Communities Paints their Portfolio Purple for a purpose

Raising Awareness of Alzheimer's

(Monarch Communities )

Monarch Communities Paints the Portfolio Purple for a purpose.

Princeton ,NJ — June 13, 2025 — Monarch Communities is proud to announce our participation in the global movement to raise awareness and take action against Alzheimer’s and all other forms of dementia. On Wednesday, June 18, our communities will come together in a bold show of unity by wearing purple—the signature color of the Alzheimer’s movement.

This initiative, part of our recognition of The Longest Day on June 20, symbolizes our commitment to brain health and the ongoing fight to end Alzheimer’s disease. The Longest Day, held annually by the Alzheimer’s Association, honors those facing the darkness of Alzheimer’s through fundraising and awareness activities on the summer solstice—the day with the most light.

“We’re proud to stand in solidarity with the millions of individuals and families affected by dementia,” said Stephanie Gaber, Life Enrichment Director of Monarch Communities. “By wearing purple, we are not only showing our support, but also reminding our residents, staff, and broader community of the power of awareness and collective action.”

Stay tuned! We’ll be sharing photos of our incredible residents and team members proudly donning their purple attire—each image a reminder that together, we can make a difference.
