When it comes to main courses, you can choose from rice and noodle dishes, such as Thai fried rice or phad Thai, or full entrees, such as massaman, panang or duck curry, and sweet and sour chicken, beef or port. In addition, there are various fish options on the menu — salmon and tilapia — and vegetarian items.

A Big, New Greek Restaurant

Yiayia's Greek Cuisnes & Pantry recently opened its doors at 55 E. Mt. Pleasant Ave.

This restaurant, located in a small strip mall across the street from The Ritz Diner, features traditional Greek appetizers on its menu, such as spanakopitas (spinach and cheese pie), melitzanosalata (eggplant dip), tzatziki (cucumber and yogurt) and the Greek salad.

On the grill, you can get chicken, pork or lamb souvlaki, a gyro or a falafel. Yiayia's homemade specialties include pastichio — ground beef on baked pasta and bechamel sauce — and mousaka — made of mousaka, layers of eggplant, potatoes, ground beef and bechamel sauce.

Of course, you an also get your baklava fix at Yiayia's, too.

New Nail, Hair Salon

Beauty One Nail and Hair also moved into the same strip mall as YiaYia's, and is located next door at 59 E. Mt. Pleasant Ave.

The salon is small and walk-ins are welcome.
