• First Baby Of 2026 Rings In New Year At Livingston Hospital (patch.com) — Livingston’s Cooperman Barnabas Medical Center welcomed its first baby of 2026 when Elian Samir arrived early Thursday morning, weighing eight pounds and two ounces. The newborn, who joins two brothers and a sister, helped ring in the new year as hospital staff celebrated with his parents, Aida and Manuel, marking a joyful local milestone. 
• Livingston Reminder: Animal Licenses Due Jan. 31, Dog Park Passes Now Available for 2026 (tapinto.net) — Livingston pet owners have until Jan. 31, 2026 to license their dogs and, optionally, their cats through the Livingston Health Department, with proof of rabies vaccination required. You can apply online or at the Senior/Community Center, avoid late fees for dogs after March 1, and even add an optional Dog Park Pass for access to the Livingston Dog Park.
