• Livingston Swears In New Mayor, Deputy Mayor For 2026 (WATCH) (patch.com) — Livingston residents have a new leadership team as Shawn Klein is sworn in as mayor and Ketan Bhuptani becomes the town’s first Indian-American deputy mayor during the 2026 reorganization meeting. Klein’s speech highlighted lower-than-inflation tax increases, a stronger Moody’s bond rating, major drops in certain crimes, progress on affordable housing obligations, and ambitious plans for the Livingston Mall and new green initiatives.
