Summer Nights At The Oval: Livingston Events For July, August

The Livingston Recreation & Senior Services Department presents “Summer Nights at the Oval” with night concerts in July and movie nights in August.

  • Wednesday, July 16: Reminisce – NJ’s premier oldies show and dance band.
  • Wednesday, July 23: Big Hix – Most authentic and fun country music tribute band!
  • Wednesday, July 30: Nine Deeez Nite – The tribute band to the 90s.

Time: 7:00 p.m.

MOVIE NIGHTS

  • Wednesday, August 6: A Minecraft Movie - A mysterious portal pulls four misfits into the Overworld, a bizarre, cubic wonderland that thrives on imagination. To get back home, they'll have to master the terrain while embarking on a magical quest with an unexpected crafter named Steve.
  • Wednesday, August 13: Mufasa: The Lion King - Lost and alone, orphaned cub Mufasa meets a sympathetic lion named Taka, the heir to a royal bloodline. The chance meeting sets in motion an expansive journey of an extraordinary group of misfits searching for their destinies.
  • Wednesday, August 20: Despicable Me 4 - Gru welcomes a new member to the family, Gru Jr., who's intent on tormenting his dad. However, their peaceful existence soon comes crashing down when criminal mastermind Maxime Le Mal escapes from prison and vows revenge against Gru.
  • Wednesday, August 27: Wicked - Misunderstood because of her green skin, a young woman named Elphaba forges an unlikely but profound friendship with Glinda, a student with an unflinching desire for popularity. Following an encounter with the Wizard of Oz, their relationship soon reaches a crossroad as their lives begin to take very different paths.
