Veterans Day In Livingston: Closures, Garbage, Recycling

The holiday is held to honor veterans for their "patriotism, love of country and willingness to serve and sacrifice for the common good."

LIVINGSTON, NJ — Livingston Town Hall and all township offices will be closed on Tuesday, Nov. 11 for Veterans Day.

The holiday is held to honor the nation’s veterans for their “patriotism, love of country and willingness to serve and sacrifice for the common good,” according to the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs.

According to a municipal news release, all Livingston township offices will reopen during regular business hours on Wednesday, Nov. 12.

Garbage and recycling will be collected according to the normal Tuesday schedule. Any questions about garbage or recycling pickup should be directed to Livingston’s collection vendors:
