There are 60 Rite Aid pharmacies in New Jersey, and these 17 are now scheduled to close:
NEPTUNE, NJ — There are 60 Rite Aid pharmacies in New Jersey, and 17 of them are scheduled to close.
This is the latest list of stores as of May 30, the date the troubled pharmacy chain filed for bankruptcy for a second time. Rite Aid first started Chapter 11 bankruptcy restructuring in 2023.
One store on the chopping block is in Monmouth County: The Rite Aid at 75 South Main Street in Neptune city. A store closing date was not given.

This summer, Rite Aid plans to close a total of 316 of its approximately 1,200 stores across the U.S. This latest list of Rite Aid closings was reported in USA Today and News 12. Here is Rite Aid's bankruptcy filing.
