2 Men Fatally Stabbed Another In Long Branch Friday, Police Say
At 11:33 p.m. Friday, Long Branch Police were called for a stabbing on the 200 block of Broadway, where they found a man with stab wounds.
LONG BRANCH, NJ — Two local men are charged with fatally stabbing a Long Branch man in that city late Friday evening, Monmouth County Prosecutor Raymond Santiago announced Tuesday.
At 11:33 p.m. Friday, Long Branch Police were called for a stabbing in the vicinity of the 200 block of Broadway. Upon arrival, officers discovered a 35-year-old man, Eren Kurkcu, suffering from multiple stab wounds.
He was rushed to a local hospital, where he died from his injuries Saturday, said the prosecutor.

Nija Faust, 21, and Santana Rivera-Cosme, 20, both of Long Branch, were each charged with first-degree murder and related weapons offenses. They have been taken into police custody and are currently being held at the Monmouth County jail.
