4 People Running For 2 Eatontown Council Seats This Year

EATONTOWN, NJ — Monday was the deadline to file to run for Eatontown town council, the New Jersey governor's race and state Assembly seats.

Here is who is running in Eatontown in 2025:

Current Councilwoman Virginia East and Councilman Meir Araman, both Democrats, will be challenged by Republicans Kevin Gonzalez and Robert Berg.

Gonzalez used to be an Eatontown Republican councilman.

In the state Assembly, Eatontown is in New Jersey's 11th legislative district:

Assemblywomen Margie Donlon (D-Ocean Township) and Luanne Peterpaul (D-Long Branch), both Democrats, will be challenged by Republicans Jessica Ford and former Neptune City Mayor Andrew Wardell.

The primary election is June 10; the main election will be in November.
