Borough Woman Charged With Burglarizing West Long Branch Home

Burglary occurred on June 11

 

A West Long Branch woman has been arrested and charged with burglarizing a Wall Street home on Monday, June 11.

Nicole Whitley, 22, was charged with burglary and theft after allegedly entering a home at 76 Wall Street through the basement window and stealing a guitar and amplifier valued at $290, according to court documents.

Whitley also charged with possessing a controlled dangerous substance for allegedly having suboxone that she did not have a prescription for at the time of her arrest.

It is not clear if the woman is connected with any of the other burglaries that have occurred in the Wall Street area over the last two months.

The West Long Branch Police could not be reached for comment on Tuesday afternoon to comment on the arrest.

Whitley was lodged in Monmouth County Jail in lieu of $10,000 bail and her initial court appearance was set for June 27.
