EATONTOWN, NJ — For the first time ever, Eatontown will host a National Night Out. It will be Tuesday, August 1, held at Wolcott Park.

The free family fun night is sponsored by state Sen. Vin Gopal (D), who represents this area in Trenton, and the Eatontown PBA. Eatontown’s National Night Out will be held from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Wolcott Park, 1-99 Willow Avenue in Eatontown.

“It will be a great evening of free food, games, music, a ‘bouncy house’ and an opportunity for residents to meet and get to know their police officers,” Gopal said.

"This will be a great event for our community. Many surrounding towns do National Night Outs — now thanks to the Eatontown PBA and Senator Gopal — our borough will have the same," said Eatontown Mayor Anthony Talerico, Jr.

First introduced in 1984, National Night Out is an excellent way to build a safer community and get to know your neighbors and your surroundings.
