Eatontown Pediatrician Indicted, Accused Of Sexual Contact With Teen During Office Visit

The doctor is from Red Bank and has his practice in Eatontown.

FREEHOLD, NJ — A Monmouth County grand jury has indicted an Eatontown pediatric surgeon on charges of criminal sexual contact during an examination of a 17-year-old female patient in his office, Monmouth County Prosecutor Christoper J. Gramiccioni said.

The jury also indicted Dr. Saad Saad, 72, of Red Bank on a charge of endangering the welfare of a child last week.

The charges stem from a May 1 incident while he was examining the patient during an office visit at Meridian Pediatric Surgical Associates in Eatontown, Gramiccioni said.

The investigation by the Eatontown Police Department was eventually referred to the Monmouth County Prosecutor’s Office Special Victims Bureau, he said.

Saad faces a sentence of five to 10 years in a New Jersey state prison if convicted of endangering the welfare of a child. He could be sentenced to up to 18 months in state prison if he is convicted of criminal sexual contact, Gramiccioni said.
