Eatontown Summer School Programs, Beach Replenishment For Long Branch

Congressman Pallone will address upcoming beach replenishment projects on Thursday.

By Christopher Sheldon

The Eatontown Memorial School Summer Program is in full swing and students have been busy working on community service projects over the last four weeks.

They will be helping out the borough's police and fire by washing their cruisers and trucks on Thursday at the school.

We'll have a full story on their efforts and what they have been up to this summer.

Congressman Frank Pallone is holding a press conference in Monmouth Beach to update the public on the Jersey Shore sand replenishment project.

The project began in Monmouth Beach this month and is moving north to Sea Bright.

We'll ask him when Long Branch can expect its sand replenishment to start and when it is expected to be finished.

Long Branch-Eatontown Patch will also have stories on last night's Eatontown Council meeting which included a spirited discussion about FMERA and the borough's future budget concerns.
