TINTON FALLS, NJ — A Tinton Falls man was convicted for having about half a cup of powder cocaine and crack cocaine in his home in 2023. Those amounts are such that prosecutors said he intended to sell the drug.

Timothy Bethea, 50, was found guilty by a jury for second-degree possession of a controlled dangerous substance in excess of one-half ounce with the intent to distribute, and third-degree possession of a controlled dangerous substance.
