Eatontown, NJ — From their time in uniform to their everyday contributions in our neighborhoods, veterans embody service in so many forms. Patch and T-Mobile have teamed up to share stories of veterans making a difference in the places we call home.

Army logistics officer who retired with over 20 years of service. Deployed twice to Iraq and once to the Middle East. Overseas assignment included the Republic of Korea. Stateside assignments include Fort Hood and Fort Bliss, Texas.

My wife. I’m also active duty Army. We met in Fort Hood, Texas. We have two children. My wife continues to serve the military as she now works for the Department of the Navy as a federal employee at Naval Weapon Station Earle, NJ. I’m currently assigned in Columbus, Ohio, working for the Defense Logistics Agency.

What makes the veteran someone your community should know about?

Over thirty years of service to country. For the last five years she’s been a single mother (as I’ve been in Korea, Washington, D.C., and Columbus, Ohio) caring for our children and supporting our military as a Navy civilian at Naval Weapons Station Earle, NJ.

What three words best describe the veteran?

Disciplined, honest and caring.
