Long Branch Opens New Park With Help Of Volunteers
Ross Lake Park opened to the public on Thursday, highlighting the hard work of the volunteers that helped make the park a reality.

LONG BRANCH, NJ - Long Branch residents have a new park to explore and enjoy. The Ross Lake Park, located at 20 Elinore Avenue, opened to the public on Thursday with a ribbon cutting honoring some of the groups that helped create the park, according to the City of Long Branch.
Volunteers from Whale Pond Brook Watershed Association and the Boy Scouts helped to make sure the park opened and were on the scene of the ribbon cutting. Both associations have helped with the beautification of the park throughout the past year, according to the Whale Pond Brook Watershed Association.
In addition, Long Branch Mayor John Pallone, and several members of the Long Branch Department of Public Works were at the opening ceremony, according to the City of Long Branch.
