Manahasset Park Pickleball Courts Now Open

A dozen of Long Branch's most regular pickleball players were part of the ribbon-cutting ceremony.​

LONG BRANCH, NJ — Last Tuesday, Nov. 25 Long Branch Mayor John Pallone and other city officials officially opened the eight new pickleball courts at Manahasset Park. A dozen of Long Branch's most regular pickleball players were part of the ribbon-cutting ceremony.

These are brand-new pickleball courts. The new courts feature high-performance surfacing, said the town.

“These new courts at Manahasset Park are a tremendous addition to our recreation system,” said Long Branch Recreation Director Kris Parker.

“We are very happy to see Long Branch have such high-quality courts,” Pallone said. “Having eight dedicated courts means more people can play, meet new friends, and enjoy the game without long waits."

Manahasset Park is located at 500 Long Branch Avenue.
