MOCEANS Center for Independent Living to Receive National Disability Employment Awareness Month Award

Trenton, NJ – October 21, 2025 – MOCEANS Center for Independent Living is proud to announce that it will be recognized with the National Disability Employment Awareness Month (NDEAM) Award at the 80th Anniversary Celebration of NDEAM. The award ceremony will take place on Tuesday, October 21st, from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. at the New Jersey Division of Vocational Rehabilitation in Trenton, NJ.

The NDEAM Award honors organizations and leaders that demonstrate exceptional commitment to advancing opportunities for people with disabilities in the workplace. This year’s milestone celebration marks eight decades of progress and advocacy, and MOCEANS will be recognized for building inclusive employment pathways and empowering individuals with disabilities to achieve independence and success.

By working closely with employers, community leaders, and state partners, MOCEANS continues to expand possibilities for meaningful, competitive employment for people with disabilities in Monmouth and Ocean counties.
