National Night Out, CommVault Upate
National Night Out will be held at Slocum Park in Long Branch from 6 to 9 p.m.
The Long Branch Police will be hosting a fun night for the community in Slocum Park on Tuesday night.
National Night Out will be held from 6 to 9 p.m. at Slocum Park and will be used as a way to inform the public about various police programs and community programs such as drug prevention initiatives and town watch organizations that exist to keep people safe and fight crime in neighborhoods.
There will be food, games and demonstrations held throughout the night for adults and children.
Slocum Park is located between Long Branch City Hall and the Long Branch Free Public Library on Broadway.
The Tinton Falls Council will also meet on Tuesday night at 7:30 p.m.
The council will provide an update on the construction of CommVault, a data protection firm being built on a Tinton Falls portion of Fort Monmouth.
The building is looking larger and more complete each time we drive by, so it will be interesting to see what update the council provides.
