WEST LONG BRANCH, NJ — On Monday, the Monmouth County Board of Commissioners celebrated the completion of a series of improvements to the intersection of Monmouth Road (Rt. 15) and Palmer Avenue in West Long Branch.

The biggest change is there is now a traffic light at that intersection. It used to be a four-way stop, but the traffic light should make the intersection safer, said Monmouth County.

The county also installed a sidewalk, curb ramps and crosswalks to help pedestrians cross.
