Pier Village Planning Board Application Moved To End of Month

Engineering group still needs time to review

 

The Long Branch Council may , but the plans must still be approved by the city's planning board.

The application was supposed to be presented to the Long Branch Planning Board on Thursday night, but the engineers and planners for the project said they were not ready.

There are ongoing parking discussions that must be addressed before the application is presented, so the board decided to adjourn the meeting.

The application will now be heard during a special meeting on June 27 at 7:30 p.m.

After the planning board reviews the application, the Long Branch Council must still approve a parking plan for the third phase of Pier Village before the project can move forward. If the planning board approves the site plan, a condition of approval will be the passage of the parking plan by the council.
