Video: Gov. Christie Argues with Long Branch Woman over Using Springsteen's Music

A Long Branch resident took Governor Christie to task- not for state issues, but over playing Springsteen's music before speaking events.

A Long Branch resident took Governor Christie to task for an issue near and dear to many New Jersey natives’ hearts: Bruce Springsteen’s music.

According to nj.com, Sandy Booket told the governor at his recent visit to the town hall in Long Branch that she was confused about his choice of introduction music before his arrival at speaking events.

Booket questioned Gov. Christie over the long-standing rumor around the state that Springsteen had asked him to stop playing his music at his political events, as the state’s favorite musician does not agree with the governor’s politics.

Christie told Booket she was wrong, before saying that Bruce had never made the request to him.
