WEST LONG BRANCH, NJ — The BP gas station on Monmouth Road in West Long Branch was robbed at knifepoint Tuesday night, West Long Branch Police confirmed. Authorities said the BP at 373 Monmouth Road was robbed around 10:40 p.m. by a man wearing all-black clothes and a blue medical mask. He showed the attendee a small knife and demanded cash from the register. He was given about $3,000 in total. The man ran off and the gas station attendant was not injured, police said. The investigation continues.
