Winners Of The Eastern Monmouth Chamber of Commerce's Spinnaker Awards
The event was held at Tillinghouse at Sun Eagles, with many local businesses attending:
EATONTOWN, NJ — On March 26, the Eastern Monmouth Area Chamber of Commerce celebrated its 33rd annual Spinnaker Awards, which acknowledge and honor businesses and individuals in the Chamber’s service area for “above and beyond” community contributions.
The event was held at Tillinghouse at Sun Eagles with many businesses, county and state representatives attending to honor the 2025 awardees.
The Eastern Monmouth Area Chamber of Commerce was excited to honor the following award recipients:

- Arts & Culture – The Stone Pony. The award was accepted by Caroline O’Toole.
- Public Service award – Anthony Talerico, Jr., Mayor of Eatontown
- Community Service award – ServPro Eatontown/Long Branch. The award was accepted by John Majeski.
- Corporate Good Neighbor award - Nissan City of Red Bank. The award was accepted by Michael Ianelli.
- Volunteer of the Year - Susan Doctorian Kyrillos
- Non-profit organization of the year – Axelrod Performing Arts Center. The award was accepted by Andrew DePrisco.
- 50 years or more of serving Monmouth County – Earth Treasures Jewelers. The award was accepted by John Baghasarian & Jeff Gokey.
- Next Generation Leader – Benjamin Carbonella
- Special award for economic improvement: Fort Monmouth Economic Revitalization Authority (FMERA) The award was accepted by Kara Kopach.
The evening concluded with EMACC’s Educational Foundation raffle. The Foundation, a separate 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization from the chamber, organized a raffle and sold 214 tickets, raising $2,140. The top prize, a wheelbarrow filled with spirits, was won by Sidney Plennert, and the second prize, a $500 gift card to Lowe's donated by New Jersey Natural Gas, went to Macklin Kiernan.
Since its inception in 1998, the Foundation has provided over $454,000 in scholarships and grants to non-traditional students, helping them earn college diplomas and certifications to achieve their professional goals and help strengthen our local community.
