Woman Who Uploaded Coldplay ‘Kiss Cam’ Video Is Jersey Shore Bartender

Grace Springer, who uploaded the viral Coldplay concert video, works at Jenks Bar in Point Pleasant and graduated from Monmouth University.

POINT PLEASANT, NJ — The woman who uploaded the infamous "kiss cam" video from the Coldplay concert that caught former-Astronomer CEO Andy Byron with HR director Kristen Cabot is from the Jersey Shore.

Grace Springer works as a bartender at Jenks Bar in Point Pleasant, also known as Jenks Club. Springer previously announced she's a Jersey Shore bartender on her TikTok account, where she uses the handle instaagraace.

Jenks Bar is a beachfront bar on the boardwalk in Point Pleasant, just a short walk down from Jenkinson's Aquarium. On her TikTok account, Springer previously posted a video complaining about people leaving trash on the Belmar beach, and she also posted a video of a jam-packed Jenks Bar over the most recent Memorial Day weekend.

Springer also graduated from Monmouth University in 2019, according to this student profile of her posted by the college, which is located in West Long Branch. At the time, she was working on her master's degree in social work, and she received a scholarship for non-traditional students.

This was all, of course, before Springer became a worldwide Internet celebrity: The clip Springer posted to TikTok has since been viewed more than 114 million times, as it's alleged Byron is married and was having an extramarital affair with Cabot, the HR director at the tech firm where they both worked. The company put Byron and Cabot on leave, and Byron has since resigned as CEO.

"Hey TikTok, it's me. The girl who uploaded the video from the Coldplay concert," Springer said in this clip she posted to TikTok Saturday. "I don't have much to say. I pulled out my phone hoping I would be on the jumbo screen and then it was Andy instead."

People are speculating how much money Springer made from posting the viral video, but apparently, Springer says she has not made much. She did not register her account in TikTok's Creator Fund, which allows people to make money from how many views their content gets, according to the Daily Mail.

"How much money have I made from this? Let's just say I couldn't take you to dinner," Springer said on TikTok Saturday.

She also posted this clip showing she has not made any money from the viral video.

Instead, Springer is asking the public to help pay off her student loans; she said she is $80,000 in debt from student loans at Monmouth University.

"Help pay my student loans! venmo @springergrace cashapp $gracemspringer," is pinned to the top of her Instagram account.

Springer received her undergraduate degree in business administration in 2019 from Monmouth University and she returned to the school in 2023 for a master’s degree in social work. At the time they profiled her, the school said Springer was working as a clinical intern at the university's counseling services. The school said she had aspirations of opening her own private practice in therapy.

"The reaction to my video has been overwhelming to say the least," Springer posted to TikTok Saturday. "But at the end of the day, Andy's wife, his family, they are very real people. So yeah, just — keep that in mind."
