$100K Allocated To Long Valley Community From Junior Women's Club
This year, the Long Valley Junior Women's Club will donate a record-breaking $100,000 to various community causes.

LONG VALLEY, NJ — The Long Valley Junior Women’s Club is allocating a record-breaking $1000,000 back to the community this year.
The club, which is a non-profit service organization engaged in both fundraising and hands-on service activities, expressed their delight at the continued growth and success of Racks Valley Boutique, located in downtown Long Valley.
"Our volunteers are truly special people because they are dedicated to making a difference in our community. Without them, we could never have achieved this incredible success and for that we would like to express our sincere gratitude and appreciation," Kate Nelson, the Club’s Co-President said. "We are thrilled with yet another record-breaking year for LVJWC and to be able to share even more with so many important local organizations."

The $100,000 the Club is allocating back to the Long Valley community represents an increase of $10,000 over allocations from last year and almost $36,000 more than in the year prior.
This year, LVJWC announced that it will distribute funds to its usual beneficiaries, which include elementary and middle school libraries, PTO/PTA organizations, and other high school programs.

The group also donated money to local organizations that help families in need, such as Long Valley Community Assistance Program (LVCAP Food Pantry), Family Promise Homeless Shelter and Jersey Battered Women's Service in Morristown, and Youth Consultation Services in Flanders.
Money has also been set aside for future school-based programs addressing mental health issues. Long Valley Junior Women's Club donated to over 40 different organizations in total.
The Juniors would also like to thank their Racks Valley Boutique customers for their generous donations of clothing and accessories, as well as those who helped spread the word about their non-profit boutique and the various things it does for the community, officials said.
Long Valley Junior Women’s Club said it is always welcoming new prospective members.
Anyone interested may attend any of the LVJWC monthly meetings, held at 7:30 p.m. on the second Thursday of every month except July and August.
Meetings are at Faith Hall, Zion Lutheran Church, 11 Schooley's Mountain Road, Long Valley. Club members are women 18 years and older, and the club said they are welcomed "no matter how much or how little time they have to give."
