2 Found With Drugs, Weapon In Washington Twp.: Cops
Duo was using marijuana inside former business building, police report.

LONG VALLEY, N.J. – Two Morris County men were arrested and charged with multiple drug and weapons offenses in Washington Township this week, Lt. Doug Compton said.
At 5:42 p.m. on Wednesday, April 20, Officer Kevin Barnes received a call for a possible drug activity currently taking place at a former business on Route 46, Compton said.
Barnes, along with Chief Jeffrey Almer and Cpl. Brian Bigham responded to the scene and found two suspects allegedly involved in the activity. An investigation identified the men as Christopher Cerrato, 19, of Washington Township (Morris County), and Carlos Martinez, 20, of Budd Lake, who were both found in possession of marijuana, Compton said.

Cerrato was also found to be in possession of brass knuckles and a switchblade knife Compton said. He was charged with possession of marijuana (under 50 grams), possession of drug paraphernalia and unlawful possession of a weapon.
Martinez was charged with possession of marijuana (under 50 grams). Both were released pending a court appearance.
