Two Long Valley establishments are hosting Oktoberfest celebrations. Here's what they each have to offer.
LONG VALLEY, NJ — October ushers in Oktoberfest, which brings along German food, beer, music and fun.
Two Long Valley destinations have their own Oktoberfest events coming up on Sunday, Oct. 3.
Long Valley Brewpub’s Oktoberfest is one celebration from noon to 8 p.m. at 1 Fairmount Road.

With fun for the whole family, the Brewpub’s Oktoberfest is an outdoor-only event, with a German Buffet, pig roast, craft beer, live musical entertainment from Mama’s Stew and chance to play Cornhole, among the fun.

In the event of rain, the rain date for the Brewpub’s Oktoberfest is Oct. 10.
Chilton Mill Brewing at 59 East Mill Road is the site of another Oktoberfest celebration on Oct. 3, running from noon until 7 p.m.. Click here for Chilton Mill’s event page, which says this second annual Oktoberfest is a rain or shine event.
The fun is expected to include “fresh beers on tap,” as well as music by Mike Frank and Friends, games and other fun for the day.
