1. Schooley’s Mountain Boulder Gorge Loop Trail

This scenic 2.3-mile loop winds through a rocky gorge with a beautiful waterfall along Electric Brook and a peaceful overlook of the valley. It’s a moderately challenging hike with forested trails, stream crossings and some light rock scrambling.

An easy 2.7-mile trail that meanders beside the Black River, with wooden bridges, shaded paths and picturesque cascades. It’s perfect for a relaxing nature walk, especially in the warm weather when the park is bursting with wildlife activity.


3. Mountain Trail Overlook

📍Patriots’ Path, Long Valley, NJ

This 3.6-mile loop combines peaceful wooded paths, sweeping views from a scenic overlook and a charming waterfall along Electric Brook. It’s great for a leisurely hike with some gentle elevation and plenty of natural beauty.
