All Tickets Sold for the Historic Evening Cemetery Tour, Oct. 25
Tickets for the second historic Evening Cemetery Tour have been sold.

A captivating evening of history and storytelling will occur on Saturday, October 25, 2025, as the Washington Township Historical Society (WTHS) presents its Historic Evening Cemetery Tour. Take a lantern-lit walk through the past and meet former residents from the 18th century.
As you journey through the historic cemetery, you will encounter costumed reenactors who bring to life German Valley residents from 250 years ago. Hear firsthand accounts from citizens who shaped our community. Soldiers of the Revolutionary War, farmers, a blacksmith, a postman, a judge, and wives of German Valley will share their powerful stories of life during one of the most challenging chapters in our nation's early history.
Tours begin at 5:30 PM and run through 8:00 PM, with timed entry slots available through advance ticket reservations. Tickets are available to purchase for specific tour times to reduce wait times. During the tour the WTHS museum will be open for visitors to explore the rich history of our town. Additional details about ticketing, selecting entry time slots and purchasing tickets is available here.
