Fire Safety Meets Family Fun At Block Party Planned For Long Valley

The event will feature live music, food trucks, a beer garden, and plenty of family-friendly fun. Here's when it's happening.

LONG VALLEY, NJ — Get ready to party with your local heroes—Long Valley’s second annual firehouse block party is heating up this summer.

Following a successful turnout last year, the Long Valley Fire Company will once again host its popular block party this June, featuring food trucks, a beer garden, live music, and more.

The block party is scheduled for June 7 from 2 p.m. to 10 p.m. at the Long Valley Firehouse (5 Fairview Avenue, Long Valley NJ).

This year's live musical lineup, according to fire officials, will feature performances by Stereo Circus and Shaky Moon.

Similar to last year, there will also be a 50/50 raffle, though details on how to purchase raffle tickets have yet to be announced.

Tickets ($25 online, $30 at the door) include two beverages and a mug. The fire company is accepting online payments through Venmo, @lvfireco. If you pay this way, be sure to include your email, name, and "Block Party" in the comments.

The Long Valley Fire Company was established in 1921 and today responds to a wide range of emergencies, including fire alarms, motor vehicle accidents, car fires, chimney fires, structure fires and more.

The fire company is funded through various fundraising efforts and donations, officials said.
