Antique NJ Diner For Sale On eBay For $25K

There is one catch, though: you have to be able to move the diner somewhere else.

BRIDGEVILLE, NJ β€” Ever wanted to own an authentic antique New Jersey diner? This eBay listing could be your chance: a diner from the 1950s has a starting bid of $25,000.

Like many good deals, there is a catch. The seller has to be willing to buy the diner as is, and they have to be willing to move it off the current lot in the Bridgeville section of White Township as soon as possible.

Known as the Crossroads Diner, the diner closed up shop for food in the summer of 2018. It was built in 1957 by the Campora Dining Car Company in Kearny. According to the eBay listing, the company had a short run, and, "the Crossroads Diner may be the only diner built by the company."

The building is 50 feet long and about 16 feet wide. It has counter stools, two six-top booths, two 4-top booths, and sits about 50 customers, the description says.

You won't just get the building: the winning bidder will also get "the intact back bar equipment (pie case, lower refrigerator coolers, coffee urn stand, stainless wall mounted shelving), original Formica clad cashier booth, original waitress station and exterior neon tube lighting / transformers."
