Back-To-School Influenza, COVID Vaccine Clinic In Long Valley

Washington Township Health Department is partnering with Dr. Ron Frank of Green Brook Family Medicine to provide the clinic.

LONG VALLEY, NJ — Back-to-school shopping now includes school supplies, new clothes, and staying up to date on your COVID-19 vaccinations.

The Washington Township Health Department is collaborating with Dr. Ron Frank of Green Brook Family Medicine to offer a timely vaccination opportunity to school staff, students and the general public.

The vaccination clinic will be held on Tuesday, Sept. 20 at West Morris Central High School, located at 259 Bartley Road in Chester. Appointments are required, and slots are still available.

The following vaccines will be available:

  • Influenza Vaccine Age 5+
  • Senior Influenza Vaccine Age 65+
  • Age 5-11 Pediatric Pfizer Vaccine/Booster
  • Age 12 + Pfizer BIVALENT Booster
  • Age 18+ Moderna BIVALENT Booster

The 3 p.m. to 4 p.m. portion will provide appointments for school staff and municipal employees, while the 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. portion will be open to the community.

Officials have asked that everyone bring their insurance cards to the clinic. For the Flu vaccine, Green Brook Family Medicine is unable to accept HMOs. The COVID-19 vaccine is covered by all insurance plans.
