Burglar Breaks Into Morris County Gas Station Vending Machine: Cops

Police searching for man who broke lock on machine in Mt. Olive.

Rather than grabbing a late night snack, one man decided to just take the cash and dash, according to surveillance footage of a gas station in Mt. Olive.

Police officers responded to a theft report at the 76 Gas Station at 18 Route 46 in Mt. Olive and learned a vending machine had been broken into, Officer Michael Russell said.

Surveillance footage shows a white male driver exiting a vehicle, then uses a tool to break the lock on the vending machine door. The man then opens the door and removes the electronics that contains the money inside the machine.
