Can Crushers: Long Valley Juniorettes Donate 1,000 Cans To Food Pantry

Teen girls hit fundraising goal in just two months.

LONG VALLEY, N.J. – Holy can-oli! That’s a lot of cans!

A group of Long Valley’s young women put their best foot forward recently and helped the Long Valley Community Assistance Program, or LVCAP, by collecting 1,000 cans of food to donate to the local organization.

Named the 1,000 ‘Can’paign food drive, members of the Long Valley Juniorettes created flyers and spoke at events announcing the initiative and reached their goal in just two months.
