The celebration of life will incorporate some of Dr. Lauren Semanchik's favorite things, including live music, pets, and more.

LONG VALLEY, NJ — A special celebration has been planned to honor Dr. Lauren Semanchik, a 33-year-old veterinarian whose life was taken earlier this month.

On Sept. 27 at 4 p.m., friends, family, colleagues, and others will gather at Ort Farms at 25 Bartley Road in Long Valley. The event will kick off with a celebration of Semanchik’s life, full of things she’d grown to love in her 33 years.

“Lauren loved music, dancing, family, friends, animals, spiritual wellness, and so much more! She was genuinely a good-hearted, free-spirited soul with a zest for life, fun, and spreading kindness,” a statement read. “A multitude of her favorites will be incorporated into this Celebration of Life.”
